Abstract
Young men today face enormous pressure to conform to narrow ideas of what it means to "be a man." The School and College Man Talks programme was developed by Father A Nation to provide a safe and engaging environment where boys and young men can explore questions of identity, purpose and healthy relationships. Through interactive presentations, honest storytelling and practical discussion, participants are encouraged to think critically about social expectations while developing values such as integrity, accountability, empathy and courage.
Rather than simply warning young men about harmful behaviour, the programme seeks to inspire them to become positive role models within their families, schools and communities. Topics such as emotional wellbeing, fatherhood, leadership, respect for women and responsible decision-making are presented in an accessible and relatable way. Churches, schools and youth organisations will find this programme particularly valuable for mentoring boys and equipping them to become compassionate leaders who contribute to safer homes and stronger communities.
