Exciting news! The Faith Action Collective to End GBV, with WWSOSA as the Secretariat, now has a strong emerging local presence in KwaZulu-Natal. The KZN Interfaith GBV Collective was spearheaded by the SA Hindu Maha Sabha, joined by WWSOSA, the Faith Action Collective and the KZN Interreligious Council. We are working with all faiths at a local level, turning strategy into action. The new KZN Interfaith GBV Collective rallied around the Red Chair Campaign during the 16 Days of Activism at the end of 2026 and now the UN’s Interfaith Harmony Week. This local collective is committed to taking steps to ensure our shared vision for an interfaith approach to gender justice.
