Abstract
Developed for communities where Christians and Muslims live alongside one another, Masculinities, Faith and Peace adapts Tearfund's Transforming Masculinities approach to promote both gender equality and peaceful coexistence. The guide recognises that faith leaders play a significant role in shaping attitudes within their communities and demonstrates how shared values across religious traditions can be used to challenge harmful gender norms and reduce violence. Through practical examples and facilitated dialogue, it encourages participants to reflect on masculinity, relationships and peacebuilding from a faith perspective.
The guide is especially valuable for organisations engaged in interfaith work.
