Abstract
Hand in Hand is a practical resource developed by Tearfund to help churches and communities address sexual violence through biblical reflection and dialogue. This collection of 12 Bible studies encourages participants to explore Scripture in the context of real-life experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of the impact of sexual violence and the Christian call to justice and compassion. The studies are designed to be accessible and adaptable, suitable for use in small groups, church services, or community workshops.
Each session includes discussion questions, key learning points, and prayer suggestions, making it a valuable tool for faith leaders and community facilitators.
The resource is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Portuguese, Hindi, and Nepali, ensuring its relevance and accessibility to diverse communities. By engaging with these studies, participants are encouraged to reflect on their own beliefs and behaviours, challenge harmful norms, and take practical steps towards creating safer and more supportive environments for survivors of sexual violence.
Hand in Hand not only provides theological insights but also equips individuals and groups with the tools to be active agents of change in their communities.
